This tutorial shows you how to put together a graphtec cb09 Blade and the setup I use with my Silhouette Portrait Machine to cut fine details. The Lettering was done in the Procreate App, exported as an image and then traced with the silhouette Studio App (free version), I used Matte Vinyl from the Silhouette Blade. I know these blades supposedly work with the Silhouette Cameo too, I do not know about Cricut Machines.
This style is inspired by @stefankunz & @ipadlettering, I tried to figure out how they do it and came up with a similar effect using only procreate default brushes, and since I was asked how I achieved this look by a great many people, here’s the Tutorial for it.
This is done on an iPad Pro 9.7 in the Procreate App, using the Apple Pencil.
I got around 100 requests on Instagram yesterday and decided to go and letter them all.
Brush used is Soft Shade:
Device: iPad Pro, 9.7”
Stylus: Apple Pencil
Brushes used: More V & Mono Smooth – both available for free on my website. & Soft Airbrush, a default brush.
A quick video of my shadow process, if you would like a tutorial with instructions, let me know.
